The US Food and Drug Administration is in the process of putting the new law into action. Starting January 1, the US Food and Drug Administration will be increasing foreign inspections and charging "reinspection fees" to Mexican producers by billing the registered US agent. There are a number of important provisions of the law but the FDA is working as a priority to move forward on the provisions that impact US imports of produce. The webinar will explain the provisions of the new law and the timeline and dates for implementation. We will cover the following topics:
